Liz Miranda On Health Disparities Highlighted By Coronavirus

As state representative Liz Miranda has used her platform to shed light on the racial and economic disparities of the coronavirus pandemic, she has also faced her own personal tragedies. Her grandmother died in April, although it was not confirmed whether she was COVID-19 positive. A few weeks later, Miranda tested positive for coronavirus, along with fifteen other relatives, including her father, who was hospitalized. She joined Jim Braude to discuss.
